Judy Ann Lee worked at Ace Rubber Products for 17 years and is from a family of rubber workers. Her grandfather, William Elrod, was an Executive at Firestone. Her father, Fred Elrod, was a tire builder at Firestone for 40 years. Her mother, Irene Elrod, worked for Ace Rubber Products for 8 years. She inspected rubber mats for kitchens, stairs, cars, and buses. Over the course of her career, Judy ran the roller cutter, became a bandsaw operator, and ran the curving rack to create stair treads, welcome mats, and a range of other rubber products.
